It looks like a cracker. A rare and attractive colour (Ive never seen a 944 in this, which is one of my favourite Porsche colours) with clean rare grey leather. Lovely. If it can be bought for the right price then it would be worth it, even if theres something nasty under the sill covers.

hiya thanks guys,,yeah looks very clean with a full main dealer service history,,have e.mailed the guy with questions about the sills,,anybody have any ideas about where sills have come from? but looks a nice car,,thanks eldavo will pm you if i go further,,good to hear from everyone else,,andrew,hope your well and that 964 is still keeping ypu happy and that tipec car in the link looks immaculate,,simon always glad to get your advice ,regards and thanks jason p,
hiya all,,,,simon,had a e mail back from the owner,,the sills are strozek 944 sills/covers and car has full main dealer service history ,last serviced 2013 but belts and water pump in the near future,,all drive belts done in feb 2010 but no record of water pump,so i assume both will need changing just after xmas,ooch!! lol but a it seems a lovely car,,frist time i am really am considering letting my s2 go, but not too sure about those sill covers but they were bought and fitted in 2004,i assume at porsche centre but would need to check,,cheers jason p
hiya oli,,,really fancy another s2,,yeah mine is totally ok but needs a blow over, as she is coming up to 170,000 and although drives great [imho],i find the guards red a trial to keep shiny and if i knew somone who could do the bodywork at mates rates i might feel different but even with a new spray job,,guards red is a trial and think i will make my next s2 a colour thats requires slightly less elbow grease,,nothing wrong with blue s2s are there oli? lol,,,,have you seen the link for the car i am intrested in? andrew c also put in tipec link for another azure blue ,up for sale with what seems like all the jobs done etc ,same colour as one up north,,only the one up in northumberland has strozek sills/covers,,cant make my mind up if i like them or they look too modern,,this car has a full opc history,last service in 2013 but belts and water pump will need doing a month after xmas,oouch again!!,,will keep you posted oli and hope to see you soon, but just basically fancy a change ,regards jason p

I prefer red by a mile on a 944. Mine is white :-/
timmy,,white is the other colour i would consider,,think the white looks lovely and very much of its time,,imo, when shiny,guards red looks great,,but with 3.5k for a total windows out paint job to 2k for a blowover in my part of the world,done by a decent workshop,,bit too much for my 170,000 mile baby i think,,cheers jason p
I quite like the sills, would like them more with out the hole/ fake air vent. I thought stroktec ones had round hole? Got 2 genuine sills 2 fit MIT be Intersted in these if you chosse 2 remove. Would check that they can be removed without needing paint work incase u find u hate them after a while
