Hi All,

i'm going to have a look at this car in the next few days. Anyone know much of its history. Dealer is a bit vauge at the moment which makes me suspious.

Don't "know the car". Certainly is an unusual colour for an RS.

Sean , we spoke once abt ur Signal orange car? I f dats an RS it shud not have h/lamp washers ........Cup cars only /or its had front wings replaced ?

Rear wheel offsets look wrong and doesn't appear to have the RS sill trim.....Though my eyes aren't what they used to be.

Echo above comments....Plus I have never seen an RS with grey dash top and steering wheel.

What leads you to believe it is an RS to ask the question in this part of the forum??? Just curious..

Agreed - also, is that a Turbo S style rear spoiler? Doesn't look like an aerokit one to me?

Yes, it appears its a 993 kitted up. The dealer is advertising it as a RS and when chatting to him he was very vague on details...couldn't even get a VIN number from him.

It is also for sale in a unusual place for such a car (if a genuine RS)...and the price seems too good. Hence the alarm bells started ringing.

I'll try getting the VIN number again before I waste petrol driving to see it.

Its a base C2 with a kit.

deff not rs from the photos,always get the chassis number first then go to see it.If they will not give the id number,dont bother looking.
I have most chassis numbers for the rs,and always happy to check out for you.

Nick..its in Ireland. The car is advertised as an RS but when I phoned the dealer the second time and started asking specific questions he said it was a C2 with a kit. He also started blubbering all kinds of rubbish so I just hung up in the end.

Mel...yep thats the famous banking. I walked it, ran on it, drank on it and slept on it.....but didn't drive on it []
