Anyone know this 944?

Bought for spares... welded up the sills and I'm now tooling around in it until I get the S2 fixed... Black 1986 220 Turbo, Linen Leather Interior, lots of miles, yellow brake calipers and did have a yellow turbo badge on the back...
Not really looked closely at the engine yet... but have felt that it isn't performing quite as it should. Well with my interest in Fuel Pressure Regulators at the moment, I notice the shiny new one on this has 3Bar written on it.... hmmmm... so all is not quite as it should be then - that could explain the 23mpg!

Registration has RSR in it, so is it a car which anyone here recognises, better, knows any of the history of?

Regards,

Tref.

Seen it on e-bay a few times Tref. Looked a bit of a dogs dinner with some untasteful additions. It was always on for low end money for a turbo IIRC. Other than that don't know anything else about it.

Yep, they came off in less than 24 hours[:)]

It is quite a nice car underneath, with a lot of early history... and obvious signs of some-one spending a lot of money (not always wisely!)... but not so nice that we're afraid to use it!
