You're driving then? Fantastic! Which car should I be looking out for?
Yes Simon! Three races over the Friday and Saturday in the Porsche Club Championship. Qualifying on Friday then 1 race Saturday mixing with the GT3's and then 2 races on Saturday. The races are on the 2010 New GP Circuit (Arena Layout). [
Hope to meet some of you at the circuit - sometimes see Mike P and Big Dave. [

Come on chaps! There will be a few of us off the forum racing at Silverstone which is nice and centrally located, come and watch the last races of the 2011 PCGB season, and fill the parking with transaxle cars as we do battle with the big bad 911s!!
Would be lovely to see anyone of the register[]Bring a picnic, and a coat just incase!
Well I wasn't going to take the '44 along, thinking of putting her away for the winter before then, but I was talking to her this evening whilst giving her a polish and she insisted on going. I made the mistake of mentioning your plan to bring confusion to the 911s by filling the parking with transaxle cars and it fired her enthusiasm.
You see, she's a bit snippy 'cos she got blanked and dismissed by a 993 owner at Snetterton on Sunday. Apparently the poor old '44 wasn't a real Porsche 'cos it was "water cooled" and "not rear engined". Now, I've explained to her that the 993 owner was mistaken and wrong but she's still fairly miffed. Her language regarding 911s has been awful. She's been calling them "nasty nine-elevens" and even using the "B word" [:-] I've told her that's very rude and all she said was "good" [8|] Really, her language is not what you'd expect from an elderly lady with her breeding. Anyway, she's now insisting that she comes along to cheer you on. Hopefully she might meet some nice, friendly 911s there too and get this whole unpleasantness out of her system.

Ok, I'm struggling to think of a good place to meet up. So if I suggest 10.30am on Saturday at the entrance to the car club parking area, what do people think? I'm not sure where the club car parking will be, but I'm assuming it's close to the track! I'll give the britcar people a call tomorrow to see if they can give me a clue [8D]
I didn't realise there was a designated car club parking area!
The second of the PCGB Championship races is going to be on 10:05-10:30 on Saturday morning followed at 10:45 by the Britcar warm-up. I am going to want to be somewhere with a view of the track for both of those.
If the plan is to meet at 10:30 then I'd suggest somewhere like Luffield Terrace, which is near the entrance for those on foot and has space to park up behind it for those with cars inside the circuit. Otherwise, I'd suggest meeting earlier as I am not too bothered by the Monoposto and Caterham races or later at 12:25 whilst the pit lane walkabouts and lunch break are on.
