I thought I would take a scenic route to Robin Hood bay for lunch. Is anyone free to join me this Thursday 18th?

I'm in John.....subject to how many turn out we should check parking availability in RHB....it gets very busy of school holidays.

Let us know the meet details etc.

John

Agreed John, but I think it should be OK on Thursday. Meet here at 11:00. I will pm my address to Kevin.

It will be good to see you Stephen. We are meeting in Great Ayton at 11 am for coffee And I suggest you join us there. I will pm you the address. The plan is to run down to Helmsley, then Hutton le hole and back up Blakey ridge, then crossing to RHB. Something like that, anyway.

Count me in too

i can meet up at the cafe at Great Ayton at 11am but happy to meet up enroute from Cramlington via the A19

Should be a good day out

Hi folks. Just an alert: there are temporary traffic lights on Guisborough Road. No problem but, if you are coming downhill, the entrance is through the hedge on the left just after you clear the roadworks, and if you are coming uphill, it is on the right just before you have to stop on red. See you tomorrow.

Apologies for the poor quality photo, but the moors were at their absolute best today. Thanks for joining the run folks.

Thanks for organising today, John. Great run, finest weather of the year so far, good pub and fine company. Couldn't wish for better,

Thanks again, Kevin & Oli

Great drive out John.....thanks for organising....and for the coffee...the moors are indeed spectacular in the sun and it was a nice run round.

Sorry I had to dash off early but thoroughly enjoyed it, see you soon.

John.

thanks again John. Blown away by the scenery and the pub ...and of course the banter

A memorable day out

Thanks for a great run out today John, good drive, enjoyed the company, the meal and were lucky to have good weather, couldn't ask for more.

Steve

Miffed to have missed this.

Looks like you all had a great run out in the spring sunshine!

Sorry you did not catch this one John. You and Gillian would have been very welcome. The good news is that for those of us lucky enough to be able to get out during the week, the moors and the dales can still be enjoyed without too much traffic.

Hope to see you soon.
