Hi - this is an appeal for anyone who can help in central London area: anyone with a 928 or with building experience!! In brief I have a garage which has an opening wide enough to take 968s, 944s and 924s. In theory I reckon it would be wide enough for a 928 (which I am now thinking of getting). It would be a little over the top to buy one and then find it's really tight or effectively impossible to get in. I could make adjustments to garage door but not that cheaply... So here I am wondering if to buy a mega-cheap 928 just to test it out then upgrade, hire one for a few hours (any ideas?) to investigate or see if anyone with a 928 can tell me/ or help by reversing it up to the door. Worth a few bottles of bubbly maybe? [

In detail: For what it's worth the current opening is 76 ins/ 193 cm. It is possible, at some expense, I could widen this to 83 ins/ 212 cm.
For 944s / 968s I currently have 9.75 ins or 19.5 cm per side free.
With a 928 that would be down to 4 ins or 8 cm per side.
I can't reduce length of garage much because a 928 would only have a few inches to spare anyway.
Sorry, it's not possible to get a new garage without getting a new house. It's ironic because I have much more space at a place out of town but would like option of bringing a 928 down into the London garage too.
Any thoughts??
