Hi Chaps,
I know a lot of you hard core track boys normally go to SPA, do they ever do a Porsche only day that anyones aware off ? Its one ive always wanted to do more than likely with a small bit of instruction too, as heard the driving standards may be different to what I'm used too!!

See you all at Oulton Park for RS day. Have a good week.
Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

I usually take on the role of organizing a trip for us. There's no Porsche only days but our group usually consists of about eight Porsches plus the odd rebel. The operator we use will be dependent on what dates are available as we like to do a two trackday trip that takes in Spa and one other (usually Zandvoort). We aim for a summer trip to get the best weather. It's a mini holiday after all! With some of the organizers you just have to take your brave pills as their aren't any overtaking rules. But after a few laps you soon work out the score and drive accordingly. One of our group (Dan) is instructor level and is always happy to give people tuition. I think everyone who went last year would agree that it was one of the best trips ever.

I usually start the ball rolling in January. Send me an e-mail if you'd like to be on the circulation list: boxsey at btinternet dot com

Hi guys

Thanks for the replies, I've just sent Steve an email. Be great to do this with you all.

See you all at Oulton.

Stuart

Just for completeness there are Porsche only days at Spa. Normally run by Porsche Club Francorchamps (PCF) Their days are usually held in May . For a while the PCF days were in favour with the UK RS crowd. Not so much these days . They operate an overtaking on both sides policy and this can be daunting to those not used to it. The track time is in sessions which reduces track time / value for money. The days were not exactly cheap!
