Anybody changed an ignition switch ( oval dash) ?

LO, I found a superb pictoral guide to changing the ignition switch on a square dash ! but there seems to be a shortage of any guide re the oval dash.

All I have really found is that " you will need some offset Phillips screwdrivers " like I'm going to have any of those :p

I had assumed there would be soldering , (don't ask me why) but I see from the pictures of the switch there is a nice big multi plug so that might be good news.

i removed the switch from the car today, took me 3 minutes! plug pulls off the back, then 2 flathead screws to take out. i used a 1/4 drive ratchet with a screwdriver head attachment.

Blast that's me done for fiitting it at the weekend then.
