Interesting read, always the same when I read plans for meets.... people cant make it for one reason or another... but good to see this happened and great pics ( given the poor weather)
Hope to see more of these planned as a new 944 recruit [;)]
Im just down the road from you Andy. Im on the sunshine coast of Clacton on sea [8|]
Dan

Welcome Dan, I'm always up for a 944 meet, work permitting. We have another on the 18th November at Snetterton if your interested, I think there are 9 of us so far. Linky

Why dont you put your name down....

Well done guys for arranging the successful Brighton event and congrats for being published and credited. I also had a photo published in the Porsche Post on page 19. The big one showing the silver cars but Stephen didn't give me a credit[&o] Anyway the only decent pic this month is on the back cover![;)]

Hi Dan and welcome,
See you have an M3 as well! As Edd said why not come along on the 18th November?

Catch up soon maybe?

Hey guys, thanks for the welcome.
I was reading the snetterton meet link earlier. I am holding out from saying yes or no at present as Im currently in the stage of ripping interior out trying to stop leak which is soaking the rear passenger side seat and floor. Trying to catch it before any damage is done.
If I get the car back together again then Ill be in. BUt with the poor weather we are having Im not getting very far very fast so cant see me having car back together again... but we will see.

Yes Andy have a E36 M3 cab as well. My collection of "Toys" is around 6 at the moment, but trying to sell a few off lol [8|]

Hope to catch some of you guys either Snetterton or the next one.

Dan

Great write up and photo's Andy! Well done and thank you all for turning up [:D]. The weather was pox but we should all make the effort a bit more often. I like Clacton on sea Dan from my childhood and would certainly like to visit again maybe next Spring [:)]

Hi Ex Skyline, how long ago did you last come here?? Its gone downhill fast in the last 5+ years unfortunately.
The town itself is trying, and I still like it, but theres a lot of bad things happening (and I dont mean the lion [:D]).
Knife crime is through the roof, jobs are scares, but still they ship people in. We got a lot of the Olympic park "refugees" housed down here.
Im not saying they are responceable for the crime but dont help the job situation, or towns finances.
Well enough selling the town to the nation lol there are still some nice places to visit and some nice local roads to some of the surrounding areas. If ur interested nearer the time we can make it happen [8D]

Dan

Yeah, i fancy a trip down memory lane [;)]. Must be over 40 years since i was there last! My parents used to take us there all the time during school holidays. Clacton and, Walton on Naze. Used to make a nice change from Brighton [:)]. I can feel a 944 meet coming on for that area in the spring [:D]. Reminds me, i must start a Nurburgring 24hr Rennen trip thread some time soon.

Well when the Clacton/ Walton area meet is arranged I hope I can make it or it will be bit embarressing [&:]

But I think I could work out some places to go for some A: Nice roads, B: Nice photo ops and C: Some coffee and grub.... and if the weathers nice there is normally plenty of nice things to look at [;)]
