Looks like I will be getting another turbo for processing.
Nice leather black sports interior with a tiny bit of wear on the drivers bolster. Can get pics in the next day or 2.
May be able to offer another drop in engine package as the car has a nice early bottom end and I have a spare complete head here. Car is a 1986 so full of forged goodies. This was my first ever Turbo so know the car well. Brakes are gone and wheels are gone as well. Is an early offset car. Has scripted handles.

Just out of interest Alasdair, what forged bits were on the early cars that aren't on the later ones ?

Cheers,

Mike

The early cars had forged cranks, rods and pistons (made by Mahle I think), proved rather costly for Porsche so later cars went to non forged parts,

The only damage as can be seen is slight flaking. They seem to be vinyl rather than leather as well. There is also a non split back seat to go with the fronts as well.

Hi Alasdair, you don't have a rear exhaust box for a turbo do you? Alternatively just the chrome tailpipe bit as that is what has fallen off mine.

Al, good A pillar trims, Autoglass carved some bits out of mine on a screen change. also looking for the little black plastic cover that sit over the OBD plug and the grommet and hose that the battery breather bottle sits onto in the hatch section i think it is a grommet with a breather hose ?

I just used a piece of old tubing I had lying around the garage for my battery breather. Fitted nicely into the hole in the battery as surprise surprise previous owner had not even considered that the battery is essentially in the cockpit and next to my children and not fitted one when the battery was changed. As for the grommet any old one will do. Buy a pack of blank ones from Halfrauds and just cut a hole in it.

Cheers Rob, bit of an originality junkie here, the bottle was missing on the Turbo S, 99p from e bay, the bottle plumbs into the battery and sits atop a rubber grommet with a hose connected which vents.
Ironic but both my battery's do not have a vent.
Hope you are well [;)]

Later cars only Julian - 1988 model year onwards, if I recall correctly.

odd, but 1987 models year cars (at least Turbo's) have all necessary wires for 10-speaker system installed. Also bigger rear speakers fits directly to 1987 cars as well. This option was available from model year 1988. Factory put several things to these cars before hand. I have found dash clusters made in 1985 where was indicators for the items like ABS, Air Bag, Oil Level. None of these were not available in 1985/1986

Alasdair,

i might be interested of the seats. Any chance they can be put the same pallet with the engine ? Mail me price info and possible pictures.

I am also looking for the parts which allows to install battery to rear like they are on UK sold 944's.
