All this talk of standard spec is confusing when I dont think any of us has a turbo thats not modified.
This particular SR is a far better car than when it left the factory and has had significant expenditure lavished on it.
I really like 944 Turbo's but no-way would I drive a standard one.
Collectors - Investors : I dont think they appreciate cars for their driving qualities hence they don't appreciate the mods that improve them. Values are based on what another one sold for. The final value is down to supply & demand, and whatever about demand, the supply is dropping.
An SR is the latest model year "turbo Cup" version of the 944t with important spec incl diff, brakes, forged rims and no-sunroof etc....a very nice unusual model with a story.
