Another Bush Question!

Just about to order new front bushes for both the anti-roll bar and the wishbone but cant work out the size I need!

My car has the MO30 option, but when I look on PET it has 3 sizes for the inner and outer anti-roll bar bush.

Am I right in thinking it should be the larger size so 26.8mm inner and outer?

Because when I look on other websites they have a bigger size of 30mm!!

Also on PET it shows a different part number for the front wishbone for a MO30 car, so are the bushes different? (no part number on PET for the front wishbone bush).

Your car should have a Ø26.8mm front arb.

The easiest way to be sure is to measure it along the inner straight section (running transversely across the car).
For the 26.8mm the numbers are:
- Inner 951 343 794 04
- Outer 951 343 793 30

968's equipped with M030 used Ø30mm bars.

For the wishbone, you are correct; the difference is due to the harder shore bush. The part number for the M030 bush is 951 341 041 31 and 4 are required in total.

Inners - 26.5 is standard on later cars - 2.7 and S2 - not sure about S. 26.8 is 944 MO30 and the 30.0 (30.5?) is the hollow 968 MO30.

All the outer 944s and 968s are the same diameter, except for the 968 MO30

So I was told when getting mine for the 2.7!!!!

As they are an easy swap, the only way of being sure is to measure, an adjustable spanner will do as a measure.

Edit - []Beaten to it!

Thanks for the info.

I'm not understanding 'shore bush' is this front front wishbone bush or the rear? If it's the rear would I be better using the 968 part?

Shore = 'shore hardness'. Meaning that its the same size and shape but has less 'give' as the material is harder.
