AM I DOING IT RIGHT?

With the ignition off - the roof down - turn the key to position 1.
The roof switch now works in the opposite, but still correct sense and the arms retract and unlock.
Undo the front locks push the roof up at the back and it then disengages backwards from what becomes the wind deflector when the roof panel is out and stored in your sun-roof bag.

To refit and lock back in do the reverse = the arms will come back up and re-lock.

tried that, no power in postion 1, had a look at the limit switches, limit switch 1 broken and not making!!, that seems to be the cause , will get a new one and keep you posted. These roof are a pain in th butt, glad when it will be back working tho!!

Bought a new limit switch from the porsche dealership-only £6 and adjusted the slip clutch and all ok, thanks all[:)]
