I've had quite a positive response to a wanted ad on pistonheads for some wheels (all Cup2's though, no Cup1's so far)
The latest is a set of black met pearl Cup 2's, in very good condition, originally bought from Design 911. Now i know Fen might be a little biased, but what do others think about black Cup's on a metallic black 944????

I'm not sure about black with your car tbh...... titanium might look good, or if they had a polished rim......

I think black on black might be a bit too "darth vader", though as mik suggests with a polished or even a silver rim it might look good. Of course they are still 2's not 1's. Find a pic of a metallic black S2 or Turbo with cup 2's and photoshop it (or I can do it quickly if necessary).

think you're both probably right...

I dont know whether this is down to necessity or not, but the Cup 2's are growing on me...cheaper, lighter, more readily available...

Personally I don't like the rims darker than the tyres unless there is a silver rim to break it up.
