Akrapovic Slip On Titanium Exhaust

I am reaching out to owners of newer models with after market performance exhaust systems for advice. I would love to have a pair of the Akrapovic "bad boys" (on a 2 year old GTS) to increase driving excitement but discussions with local Porsche Centre (car purchased from them) do not look promising.

PC: "We would not be able to fit the Akrapovic Exhaust as this is not a Porsche approved option, as such this would be a barrier to extending the warranty in the future and in the unlikely event of a warranty claim for example relating to the engine having an aftermarket silencer in place could be a reason for rejection".

Me: "Would the warranty remain intact for other claims / faults that are completely unrelated to the existence of the Akrapovic SlipOn exhaust (I understand this to be a bolt on part only... I am not even considering the link pipes that are more intrusive)?"

PC: "I would not recommend fitting any non-Porsche exhaust components as this would potentially void any warranty claim relating to the engine or for example the Particulate filters / Catalytic converters. Any exhaust modifications would unfortunately leave you exposed in this area"

Has anyone managed to find a solution to this? Does anyone here know any Akrapovic friendly PCs out there?

Many thanks!

Thats crazy that as your only after a bit noise and some Porsche come with “optional extras” Akrapovic exhausts, How come you can buy a Porsche in the states with no OPF and still have a Porsche warranty then 🤷‍♂️

Thank you Brian, very useful reference point.
Will need to have 1-2 friendly dealers on my side (even if they are a little further away) before launching into this.
