Any info? The air bag warning light has come on. Is this a timed service requirement or a geniune indication of fault?

my air bag light stays on for about a minute when the car is started and then goes out, is this the same fault?

Many thanks for info......the car is under warranty so its good to go in "armed" with additional info.

I, like many of us with cars that don’t get used continuously, have had occasional battery outages. None of mine have led to airbag warning lights. But I guess the sensitivity electronics on an airbag might be susceptible to the exact way a battery goes down.

I fear the error codes on 993 are not that detailed and you may only get a code that says what you already know.

Let us know what code you get, and as you suggest, a reset is always worth a try.
