Rather than talk about it we are actually going to drive the roads of Sussex on Sunday 21/9/03.

Helen Goff will be joining us in her Boxster, but I would like to see a good turn out of early cars. At the moment there is no plan, but we should meet up for a drive, then stop for lunch somewhere.

Suggestions for meet-up point, route and lunch locaton accepted here.

We (Mark and Claire) should be there.

Can' t promise to bring an old car though - care to lend us one of yours Nick?[:D]

Nick, just jumped across from the other section...I will be around in Sussex areas on Aug 17th...trip to Tangmere Museum...if I spot any good looking pubs with lunch I will post you details for consideration

hope this trip is still on???
i' ve booked into my private Bexhill retirement home (my dads bungalow)for the week-end and am looking forward to blasting round the sussex countryside with you all. Nick (Mooseman)will your car be done by then?

The drive is still on. I shall be announcing the route at the Sussex meet at the beginning of September. The Carrera will be finished long before then (hopefully). The suspension went on this morning and I should get the motor in by the week end

I hope that will post the relevant details here, so that us non-Sussex types can consider joining in.

I assume that you will, as it started here.
