Ace cafe was ACE! It was great meeting all you guys for the first time. [:D]

Though all the credit for the entertainment went to the Beemer boy-wonder who dashed his pride and joy up and down the Old North Circular road and gave a superb finale by curbing it on the centre island, evacuating the entire contents of his engine in one go and then carried on by dragging along his front bumper for a short while still under the illusion that everything was fine...

Whoever called the fire engine was totally unnecessary; the eveready Ace café regulars had already emptied a large barrel of sand over the road"¦

See you guys at the Dysart Arms...

Perhaps someone who was not at the Ace saw the plumes of smoke - and assumed something was on fire?
The tyresmoke must have been visible from quite a way away...
