Ace Cafe 2012 meet?

I may be there to say hi to a few old/new faces if I can get one of my sons to give me a lift. The Ace is local for me so chances are good.

I'm aiming to be there for 7:30ish depending what time I finish work for the drive down. Do they still do the chilli and chips coz I'll be starving by that time? Definitely still be there by 9pm for the late arrival of Mcnulters [8|]

Should get us plenty of time to get the cars lined up for his grand entrance. Two columns facing inwards with the pop-ups up and headlamps on, guard of honour style? [8D]
 
Just a quick note to say it was great to see some old friends tonight and I hope to see more of you guys in the future, I'll certainly be a regular face again once the cars back on the road.

I fear, I must disappoint as I had no camera with me. Had I known I was supposed to be deputising for you on Register Snapper duties I would have dragged one along! [:eek:]

Can anyone please tell me when the next Porsche gathering at the Ace will be, i missed the last one as i didnt know about it until after the event, Im in Egypt from 20th May till 2nd june, so i suppose thats this month out, but after that i should be ok, cheers, Jinxy ( Tony )
 
Thanks for that Paul, will try to get along to the June one & catch up with you guys, not had the car that long so would be good to meet a few like minded 944 owners, cheers, Jinxy
 
At the moment i cant commit unfortunately, as i dont know what work are going to spring on me last minute, i should know on the sunday, so if i can make it i'll post as being there, cheers, Jinxy
 
Possibly... the car was making some distinctly odd noises on the run up and down to Cholmondeley last weekend and I'd like to track them down before subjecting it to London traffic. The car is never particularly happy with stop-start driving at the best of times.

Looks like we could have a good turn out otherwise. Think the white car will be off the road unless Ollie and the guys on Monday are able to find out what's making an ominous knocking noise from the nearside front corner... I've also lost some boost, not sure where it's hiding, I've looked everywhere... Don't get that with NA cars [:)]
 
It's Badminton night for me, and with the car off the road for what might be an "indeterminate" time I'm not going to be there. [&o]
