Just got in from a quick shakedown run after sorting a leaky coolant temp thermostat and had the car on the drive, running with the bonnet up. All dry as a bone coolant wise so that was good, but could hear a whooshing noise like someone blowing through a straw and could smell fuel!
Shut the car off and the 3rd injector back was leaking fuel onto the rail-retaining bolt, eek.
Doesn't bear thinking about what might have happened had I gone for a longer run
I'll remove the fuel rail and replace all the injector seals but is there anything else I need to check while I'm in there?
