Hi people, it`s bad news i`m afraid,

It looks like my Porsche days have come to an end, unfortunately my budget and the love my 944s has beaten me with the oily end of a bent crank shaft into submission after the engine blew my rebuild cost came in at £2700 which I couldn`t pay and was quoted at £1400, shes been laid up for 4 years and it`s all just gone too far I need the space and the money I sold a few parts off but I still have a rolling chassis.

I will look back on my Porsche owner Days with fond memories and I wish the best for all you 944 owners and your dedication to your cars and the club, the passion, dedication and support I had from the club in my project has just been second to none, I would never of got as far as I did without this forum and the members that helped me, I have owned my Porsche for ten years now and she spent 12 weeks on the road, it's heart breaking.

They say as one door closes another opens, maybe the door is not opening for me maybe someone else who she can help as a doner car or put back on the road, either way £5000 down the line I'm left with a £0.99p auction on Ebay it's like loosing a family member and selling their body parts for research, so it was a difficult decision to make, once again thank you to everyone that helped me, share your knowledge and be lucky...rob944s signing out....
