Looks like a nice car, but the 'aircon needs recharge' line always makes me laugh. Knackered condenser more like, otherwise why wouldn't you just spend the fifty quid to get it done on a six grand car?

Not sure if its the 'biz'. Its an early car not an SE spec and dosent have sport seats. Sounds about the same as mine and I would not put mine up for £6k+.
'FSH with 16 Official Porsche Centre stamps(most recent 14/07/2009)and 5 specialist stamps' buts its an '86 so what about the other 2 stamps??
'Cambelt & balancebelt change at 48462 & 79282 miles' What about the waterpump?

Still looks a lot better than most on the market and in a good colour.

Sorry guys I can't answer these queries as I was only posting this on behalf of a good friend who has really looked after this car for many , many years. The service history is really way above the norm for a car of this age but of course it is always possible to get more details from the owner
His phone number is in the pistonheads ad, if there are serious enquiries call him ( Frazer ) .

I've remembered my forum password. Thanks for all your help Mike.
Paul may be right about the condenser, I've not had it checked, but aircon was serviced at 84,496 miles .

Hi Frazer, I used to live in Kirky, just up the road from you and used Mark Henderson of Autokool (07770 732325) for the aircon on a 996, Boxster, but more relevantly a 1986 928 S2. The latter had multiple problems that he managed to solve on its older system. He would come to you and he is reasonable; for the straightforward leak check, vacuum and regas I was only 40 or 50 quid. Not that you are interested I guess, but I thought I'd mention it...
Enjoy your Cayman when it comes :)
