Iv won some blue carpets 4 99p + £25 packaging and the seller can't package up the items.

Been 2 weeks now, 1st he split the foam on the rear boot carpet trying 2 fold it up. And now he saying he hasn't the time. Iv gave him some advice on packaging them up.

Seem a lost cause, and is moving house and don't seem interested. So if he can't follow my sirugesstion they will be avabilve 2 any one willing 2 collect 4 £0.99

Cornwall I think, will get an address if anyone interested, there prob end up
Free. I got them so I can use the rear boot 4 work and not worry should something happen.

Penzance? Good luck![;)]

Yep that's the one. He can't find cArdboard large anoth 2 package them. I told him 2 pallet it or open up some cardboard boxes and use that 2 wrap them with the boot carpet at the base, then rear floor carpets e.c.t stacked on top. He's refund my money now and won't package them, but he will allow them 2 be collected.

They look a bit dog earred to me, he could have just rolled them up and used some pallet wrap on them.

What sort of seller thinks it's going to be economical to package and post an entire 944 carpet set for £25? I'd wonder whether he's actually thought about this.....

Speaking as someone who has a van, and does exploit ebay sellers who don't understand the difficulty of listing large iems! [8|]

I know its been a few weeks but are you still trying to get hold of these bud?
If so I can see if I can help if you like as im only ~30min drive from penzance.

Ye same ive pretty much live here all my life except a few years i lived abroad when i was like 9 and my 3years at uni. Im unfortuntly to close to camborne (about 1.5miles from the outskirts).
You head down here often?

Hi, I must off missed your reply. Off course I'm still interested, but if there off interested 2 anyone else there welcome 2 them.

Pm me and I will send u over postcode and details

Fairly often, 4-5 times a year maybe, driving down on Boxing Day as I have work here until then. Some nice roads in Cornwall too when its not too busy in summer. Bedford will be a bit of a trek for you then, but worth it.

Awsome, you down here for long? once I get myself a 944 would be cool to have a little meet up when your down! Some brilliant roads like you said when not to busy, I have a really nice few mile drag just up from me, mainly straight with some gentle bends and a few really tight bends along the north coast into portreath from hayle.
Ye I've got a busy march comming up but I deffintly want to get to some porsche meets so would be a good start!

Unfortunately not, driving back on the 29th as back for work and new year. Always up for a meet and you'd be welcome to have a look at my car to see whats what, etc. The run to Portreath sounds fun too.

Edd

awell still a nice short n sweet trip for christmas though. Ye man may do that next time your down if thats cool be pretty sweet!
Ye tis a awsome run shame its repetitively short. Next time your planning on heading down you'l have to drop me a pm mate, sort something out. you know if theres any other cornish 944 owners on here? As see a few about but most look like theyve had hard lives unfortunately or theres a couple of 924's owned by some chavs :/

Pm'd you T3rra bud :)

Hang on,Will,

924S owners are not classified as "Chavs" please, we have 2 of them -1 my trackday/sprint car but also general road use -my wife has driven 924's since 1987 & our 2nd 924S since 1991,plus a 964 C2 until 2 yrs ago.

Hope you're OK there down in beautiful Cornwall/Devon/Somerset & all other PCGB members-don't get driving into a flood-we seem to be so lucky here in Formby but my heart goes out to anyone subject to the weather /rain we've seen recently.

Cheers & Merry Xmas.

Colin & Irene Appleton.

For a good while the 924S was second only to the series two 944. People chose the 924S over series one 944s, their condition was far, far better and their prices were slightly less than their new dash cousins, whilst being far, far higher than those of early dash 944s.

I don't think Will is referring to 924 owners as Chav's , more that these two particular 924 owners were Chav's, of which in Cornwall there are quite a few it would seem. Myself and Will excepted of course....[;)]

Edd

What do you mean,Simon-second?--who needs all that extra weight & bulges-you go just as fast in a 924S if not faster-it's a leaner meaner machine[:)]-so much so that my new name is now Gravel Boy-for guess what--yep ,you got it-spinning into the gravel at Oulton.[&o]

Err-I had thought that,Edd,but couldn't resist a dig--it's a pity.Bedford is 3hrs drive from Formby,as I would have loved to join you all-looks like a cracking day out.
