997 PCCM+ USB issue

Hi all,
I upgraded to the PCCM+ in my 997 about 18 months ago - and since then I've only used the radio on the unit.

Last weekend, I tried to use the USB port to charge my phone and access AppleCarPlay - but the USB port was totally dead (I tried various USB cables inculding an original Apple cable but still no joy...)

I had flat battery a few weeks ago and had to jump-start the engine, so I'm wondering if that my have affected it in some way...

Has anyone esle experienced this / have any suggested fixes?

If not, I feel this could be (another) expensive trip to the Porsche garage...
 
Hi,

Have you tried rebooting the unit? Looking online, apparently the procedure for your PCCM+ is as follows:
  1. Press the Settings menu button.
  2. Touch and hold the volume section for 10 seconds.
  3. This brings up a menu; you can then restart the system.
Worth a try before resorting to a dealer visit.
