997 body kit options.

Hi All

The 997 is the prettiest 911 for a while in my opinion, but I am not mad about the body kit that Porsche offers. I presume that there are alternatives (I am especially interested in a nice spoiler), can anyone offer any advice in this respect?

More in keeping with Porsche heritage rather than the "carrying handle" looking efforts. Even the one on the 997 Turbo looks too half-hearted to me.

I do wonder about the wisdom of using anything other than Porsche's own accessories. One has to assume that Porsche does extensive testing on their own products and hence they are unlikely to make the car crash at speed!
 
Better, but not pretty. In the aircooled days the whale and duck tails seemed to flow as part of the car's lines. Now, the spoilers look like an afterthought.

Save your money and invest in X51 instead. Makes much more sense.

More trousers instead of mouth.

absolutely agree-bodykits are very personal-many would prefer a 911 without it-but x51-noone would mind that being on[:D]
