This may seem like a pretty basic question, but I can't consistently get my iPhone when using Waze to 'talk' through the car's audio speakers.
On occasions it works (when my son links it to the car's bluetooth etc) but next time I use the car its gone again.
Is there something basic that I'm missing here?
At best, all I seem to be able to achieve is that when listening to the radio the sound pauses while a message on the screen says 'mobile phone calling' or something similar as Waze tries to give navigation instructions.
Why won't the instructions come through the speaker system?
I should add that when someone rings my phone I simply accept the call and can converse through the speakers perfectly normal.
Apologies if this topic has been covered previously, I went back dozens of pages on the forum and found nothing.
Any advice would be welcomed.
