996 Targa Problem

Was wondering if anyone could offer me advice with a small cosmetic issue I have with my 996 Targa .

One of the nylon 'curtains' that slide down the C pillar had become jammed so I've had to remove most of it to ensure the roof can still slide back. Has anyone got any experience of replacing these and if so how difficult is it to replace?

One specialist I spoke to suggested 16 hours labour (ie dropping the frame!), another a minimum of 6 as it's fiddly, given the cable needs to be threaded through. Is it DIY-able with modest skills?? Would rather spend a bag of sand on something more exciting than a curtain!

Good Afternoon l have the same problem with my 2002 996.2 Targa have you found a way of rectifying the near side Curtain problems like yourself l have disconnected it from the carrier and pushed it down to the bottom of track , the roof and sunshade opening and closing work perfectly except the cable hangs down when roof is open.
