996 Rear quarter window leak

When washing my car I have discovered my passenger side rear quarter window is leaking, on my 2001 C2 Carrera.

I had suspected water was getting in somewhere but have now discovered the source. Looks to be at rearmost section as seal curves up to follow roofline.
Is this a common problem ?
Are there any recognized fixes.

Has the window been replaced before? My guess auto glass specialist can remove and reseal. The air-cooled 911s used to rot in this area, but not heard of this on 996.
 
I had my leaky window inspected by window specialist.
It was found that bolts that are bonded onto glass at door pillar had become detached (common enough apparently) and that the window had been replaced at some time previously.
One fix option was New glass, New rubber, New trim. Bill from Porsche would have been around £500+ parts then fitting charge.
My Specialist felt it OK to rebond window in using all existing parts. Window pillar is broad so adhesion here should not be an issue. Needless to say the bill was considerably less.
If fix fails I will have to dig a bit deeper and buy all new bits.
