996 C4S - where to service?

It's a 2002 model supplied second-hand a year ago by OPC Sutton Coldfield - I'm based in Loughborough. Just wondering where to send it for service other than the obvious choice, for example:
* ano OPC
* somewhere else - I see Zentrum recommended on this board

Is there any issue with warranties if I don't take it to an official Porsche centre?

Thanks for any help.
Iain
ps looking forward to Donnington track day in June...

with "block exemption", it is possible to have your car serviced at any garage so long as service intervals are adhered to and genuine Porsche parts are used.

Hope this helps

Regards

Phil

If your car was UK supplied, and has been maintained by the OPC network, there may be some merit in continuing.

After the second year Porsche operate a sympathetic 'warranty' policy. However, they do use their discretion and the continued use of an OPC may contribute to this. Also, when you come to sell, some buyers prefer a car with a Full OPC Service History.

IMO, once the car is, say, five years old then it is worth considering the wider options.

another alternative to Zentrum would be PCT (Autobahn) Coventry. both of these companies only use Porsche parts and have fully Porsche trained staff.

BTW: Autobahn/PCT are having an open day on Saturday 11th June from 10am, they will be free inspections and lots of demonstrations (including brake skimming) throughout the day.
not to mention a BBQ and kids entertainment[8D]

Thanks for the useful advice. I was impressed with the Autobahn show room so will take a look at PCT. Another question on warranties: is there any difference in the extended warranty you can buy from PCT compared to the one from an OPC?
Cheers, Iain
