993 RS

I am looking for some help with the factory fitted labels on my 993RS.

The shut panel for the engine lid has had what appears to be a gold coloured label on the left side. I have spoken to Porsche, without success, and a friends 993 has a silver label, part no 96400611100 which details how to check the oil level.

If anyone has an original 993RS or knows of the label please let me have the part number written on it in very small numbers.

PS my OPC says they cannot find which labels my car came with because Porsche change them and do not always put the same ones on the same model cars !!!!!

Hi Rallen
I have a 1995 RS (rhd) and on checking find the same Silver sticker/part no as your friends car. I am positive this is factory fit on my RS,however I do also have a "yellow" Shell oils sticker are you sure this is not the one ?
Paul Howells the RS Register Secretary is very knowledgable, have you asked him?

Regards

John
