Interested to know if any members have had a rattle from within the headlining on a 992 with a sunroof, when going over a bumpy road or even closing the car door.

Just checking - it's definitely the sunroof? I have a rattle from the passenger seat belt tang touching the seat/side on bumpy roads (when I'm travelling solo).
We have a sunroof, but I've not noticed a rattle.....

yes fixed myself open up the roof clean to seals with glass cleaner and very thin smear of silicone grease and the rattle has gone

The rattle in mine seems to come from the headlining. i believe it may be a loose rail.
Will need further investigation

I had an annoying headlining rattle from delivery (Nov 22) which was generally present on anything but the smoothest road surfaces. Localised to the sunroof as tilting the roof open made it disappear. The car was booked in to sort, however by some fluke managed to cure it myself - basically whilst driving I found the exact spot on the sunroof rail to place my finger to silence the rattle, and that action alone seems to have stopped it. I guess that something may have been slightly out of alignment, and the finger pressure has corrected it. Several weeks later it’s still all good.
