The result of the Build your own 991 Competition run before Christmas has been announced


The specification of the winning entry drawn at random was:

911 (Type 991) in Aqua Blue Metallic with Black/Platinum Grey two-tone leather interior, featuring Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Bi-Xenon-Headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels.

Additional features chosen included:

Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including navigation module
Sports exhaust system
SportDesign steering wheel
Sports seats plus
Cruise control
ParkAssist front and rear
BOSE Surround Sound System
Electric folding exterior mirrors

Total price: £86,710.00

Interestingly, the most popular spec and options were:

Colour Basalt Black Metallic
Transmission Manual
Features Bi-xenon-Headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System
ParkAssist (front and rear)
Rear wipers

So manual rather than pdk was the most popular choice.

Maybe there's an argument for making the last 3 standard fitment.

Funny how we get these Porsche competitions but never get to hear who's won.

Bit like the winners at the Power of Four, who were unable to attend the presentation as they had to rush off! [8|]

No doubt it'll be in Christophorous in three months time
 
Drawn at random? Lol, no chance! That's been hand-picked to a spec they can easily sell on after the fuss has died down.

I hope they never make the rear wiper standard, murders the lines of the rear IMHO. Posh lights would be nice though, but I'll give the bumper acne a miss I think.
