987 Sun Visor & iPod charger in centre console

Hi all, picked up a 2008 987 yesterday, which I’m super pleased with. Its in great condition, just needs a few cosmetic bits sorting out,
- Drivers sun visor keeps dropping down! Anyone had a similar issue and any ideas on what hinge part is needed to replace, as it’s a bit annoying when you go over a bump and it drops down!
- and in the centre arm rest there’s an iPod/pad connector which looks to be factory fitted to the PCM and Bose system. Any ideas on what this does, guessing it’s an aux - there’s no reference to it in the PCM handbook? I’ve ordered an adapter in advance so it can connect to my phone to see, just thought I’d ask in advance, Thanks all :)image.jpg

Regards Sun visor you.might want to try eBay or a Porsche breakers for a little less expensive visor assuming in good condition.
Pretty common had this on a 986 kept dropping down .
Hope you get many miles and smiles.
We have a great technical team if support is needed.
