Big trip building up in the Boxster, so it needs to be ship-shape for the Tour.
Just collected the car from Zuffenhaus in Birmingham having had the exhaust 'triangle' fasteners (that had all but disappeared) replaced with stainless proper nuts and bolts/gaskets, the two rear clamp rings (that had corroded and split) and the AOS I bought at OPC Wolverhampton fitted, though I don't think it was broken, but as I had it, Zuffenhaus fitted it for me.
If the car has cold start smoke now there is nothing I can do except buy an AUDI TT!
Dead easy to deal with, dropped the car off at 8.30am and picked it up at 2.30pm having 'survived' a shopping spree in Solihull/John Lewis with minimal damage.
The Zuffenhaus bill was not a fright either!

Last week had 2 new rear tyres fitted, N1 approved on the 10" rims. Do they ever weigh a lot!
Last errand is the MoT in March and a discussion I'm sure about rusty disc brakes...
