Had the Boxster back from the garage after quite a few issues sorted (rear corroded brake lines replaced, gear box oil changed, new rear coffin arms and drop links, new geo, removed the underdrive pulley and put back to standard and a new belt, new water pump and low temp thermostat, new brake fluid, new coolant).

Drove the car home and got caught in an almighty downpour but all was well. Got up at 6am and took her out for an early morning drive around the roads of S Wales. Epic.

Got home and decided to clean the Boxster as the interior was a little dusty after 4 weeks at the garage. All going well until i found a wet patch in the passenger footwell (it was concentrated to the right near the centre console - nothing behind the seat). Ahhhhhh!

Checked the drain holes front and rear - all clean. I knew the passenger door card was loose (had the new fittings ready). So, door card off, new plastic fittings installed, quick fix of sealant around the bottom of the door where the membrane was loose (about an 8cm gap where the adhesive had dried). The bottom rear edge of the door, even with new fittings doesn't want to seat tightly though even with new fixings.

Then had a poke around thinking could be heater matrix, Checked coolant - that was also low but to be fair it has been renewed so could be last bits of air in the system. WIll top up and keep an eye.

Other issue the car has had is the heater blows hot for a while then at the same speed and heat goes luke warm, then hot again (fan speed doesn't change). Could this be a resistor (hedgehog) issue or possible AC leak or something else.

1. So, trying to work out if the door membrane could be the source of the leak (cant see how the water can get from the door to the centre console without wetting the carpet near the door).

2. Does the heater issues sound like a failing hedgehog?

3. Anything else I should check?!?!?

Thanks!
