981 Battery Replacement

The original battery in my CS was six years old and my battery monitor was taking ages to charge. Even after a long run. I'm too tight to pay the £600+ at an OPC so looked at the options. As it turned out Halfords supplied an AGM 115 at the same spec as the original Banner one for £167 fitted and programmed to the car. Can't fault them or the battery. especially with a 5 year warranty. The only problem is that I have to remember to turn off the stop-start now.

You have to book in at one of their autocentres as their retail stores don't have the required computer (PIWIS equivalent). Result!
