968 Turbo RS for sale in the UK

I don't think this car was restricted by ADAC GT regulations, perhaps with a 16v head it would have given the GT2 a hard time. I'd still have the GT2 though.

Yep that's right, they did 3 for the ADAC GT Cup regs and this car was built by Porsche for a South African customer and had modifications outside the ADAC regs. I don't think people realise how rare they are, lovely machines. This car was used as intended in SA and has more bhp compared with the others. I can't believe this will hang around for long, it's going to be mega expensive but should be!

I would take a guess at somewhere between £120K and £140K

update

number 2 of 4 cars.....

price rethink somewhere around £300k I recon

I'd be very surprised if they don't go over the 300k mark, it's one of the rarest cars produced by Porsche with the RS badge on the back and has the motorsport connection with Le Mans in 1994.

These were supplied to the race teams when they sold out of 964RSRs. If it is rarer then the number will be North of 1/2 I would guess.

Now on PH classifieds. A claimed 480 bhp, it would be interesting to see what turbo, boost and engine management it's running...

It's now featured on Pistonheads and also on the front cover of 911 and Porsche World magazine. Nice to see it getting some attention

Unless someone is speculating and expects to turn a profit on it no car over £250k makes sense to me. I may think differently if I was worth £50 million I suppose.
