Hi all,

I'm looking at putting together some 968 Register Meetings this year, the first will be in Cheshire in September, plus I'm also looking for a southern location for get at least a 10-20 cars together, all suggestions welcome...

Sounds good.
Be nice to have some 968 meets in the north again instead of so far south that they are nearly in the sea ??

Cheshire sounds like a fine excuse for a drive out and suggestions for the south depends upon how far south but I would suggest Bicester Heritage or The Classic Motor Hub in Bibury, Caffeine & Machine near Stratford, Carnatter near Weedon or British Car Museum near Gaydon. I sure there are many other venues out there.

All events will be well publicised in advance.

Any updates on the Cheshire meet in September event yet please?

Unfortunately the event manager at Peover Hall has cancelled the venue hire in a 6 line email with zero warning, discussion or consultation. Therefore this event will not go ahead. I am looking for another venue and will report back as soon as I have news!

Only last week I was talking to the owner of C&M asking if they'd ever held a Porsche transaxle event. They haven't.
The thought occured to me, as my 944 Turbo is always in the minority compared to the rear and mid engined Porsche.
When Magnus Walker called into C&M in July a quartet of 924 called in along with a couple of 944, but no 968.
Wouldn't C&M yard look great with a collection of 924, 944, 968 and 928

Sounds like a very good idea! I'll look into and speak to to the other transaxle RS guys...

Might be worthwhile talking to some of the OPCs?
Teesside and South Lakes always seem keen to hold events.

Yes agree, have been to South Lakes and they were excellent!

Thanks to all that attended the Cotswold event a couple of weeks ago, we had 30 members and 18 cars!

Pics and a short video are on our facebook and instagram pages! :)

Now working on the next event, likely Leeds/Newcastle direction, announcement out on email to register members soon...
