968 Handling

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what degree of good handling I can expect from my 968 sport in the snow and ice or should I clean out the garage and store it to avoid ending up in a ditch ?[:(]

Just had 19" Pirelli Pzero's fitted. Is this a good or bad thing ?

Thanks,

Carol.
(There are lots of ditches in suffolk)

Most rear wheel drive cars will be very "entertaining" in the snow and ice!!! [&:]
Ditches, here we come!!! []

In the snow -bloody awful, if my old 964S2 was anything to go by.

Entertaining? For sure. But given any slight incline on ice or snow, not enough weight over the driving wheels for traction.........I abandoned it a couple of times....

Good choice of tyres.

19" wheels?!

I've seen 968s on 18" wheels, but never 19" - what does it look like?

Let's see a photo!

What a donut......my better half has just told me that they are actually 17" wheels, so I am really embarassed now. But men do that dont they (get their inches muddled up !)[:D][:D] I would image 19" wheels would look pretty silly.

Anyway I guess I'll be putting it away for the winter and driving my lovely (as aerodynamic as a brick)Discovery.

Cheers Guys..it got you all talking didn't it ?

Carol
