Has anybody on here got any experience of the mounts available on ebay? If so are they any good ? Also what did everybody else do when they replaced theirs? I like the ones that Olli's pal sells but I just can't justify the price in my head.Anybody got any good sources for them at a sensible price?

Loads of questions I know, sorry just trying to get the best deal.

Get the Hartech bushes. I think they're made by the same manufacturer as the OEM bushes, but are half the price.

968 castor mounts arnt that expensive are they? I would buy a known brand like those available from Hartech or Promax if you dont want OEM, rather than risk cheap ebay stuff, often turns out to be a false economy... Edd

Colin I think I paid £92 delivered for 2 OEM ones from Porsche-a-part about 2 years back. I think he still has them on e-bay. They were definitely OEM quality. The cheaper e-bay ones are nonsense. Al got some a while back and they don't even have rubber all the way round. [&:] Stuart

968 item is OK. I suppose there are not any aftermarket 968 style mount available ?

Here's several mounts. Original 968, friend's billet version and VW Golf which can be used with steel arms

Best place is to buy from K300 - Hartech mounts - lots cheaper than OPC, especially if you're registered on porsche968uk and get the forum discount!

Thanks Bert. I would be interested but I forgot to mention that I have also fitted 17 inch wheels. Will that affect which mounts I can use?

Does anybody have the Polyflex mounts in the car? Kind of curious as to how well they work on track days, well really I am also interested of hearing track reports on the 968 style too. Cheers Niels

Colin - Porsche recommend (and I think everyone else agrees!) that with 17" wheels you have to fit the 986 mounts, because of the more intense loading you get with bigger wheels / smaller sidewall tyres.
