968 Alarm Module

Hi. I have a non-start problem with my 95 968 Sport. Various tests are pointing to the alarm module being a possible cause. I need to test the module itself to understand if it is functioning correctly or not or somehow bypass the alarm module. Who can test the module or is there a way to bypass? All the information found so far relates to the 944, and unfortunately I think that the 968 differs substantially and there may be variations within the 968.

Hi, I appreciate your reply. The car stopped suddenly whilst driving. The symptom is that there is no power supply to the fuel pump fuse and circuit. There is power at the DME relay. Jumping the relay does not supply power to the fuel pump. Yes, the engine turns over. The tacho bounces which I understand indicates that the crank sensor is working. I have swapped the immobiliser module and the symptoms persist. The fuel pump itself is tested as working. Most information on the internet relates to 944 which although similar is not the same.
