I prefer the proper CS wheel on my 968, particularly with Big Dave's spacer mod, so my Momo Monte Carlo is for sale. It's 35 cm diameter and includes the boss and horn button, an immaculate wheel ready to go straight on. I assume it would also fit a 944.

Anyone interested?
 
There's an old thread about it on the 968uk website. It was a bulk order organised by Big Dave UK about a year ago. It's a black anodised spacer between the wheel and the boss, surprisingly unobtrusive once it's on. It moves the wheel closer to you (of course!) so it's off your thighs, so you can twirl more easily, and slightly higher, so you see the top of the dials better. Brilliant!

Definitely! Being a shorter driver I can't get far enough away from the wheel. [:D]

Shame the OP isn't selling his CS wheel, I am on the look out for one in classic grey. Will post on the "Wanted Parts" section methinks.
 
I sold my CS steering wheel 10+ years ago, shortly after I sold my Club Sport. Id swapped it for a Momo Monte Carlo!

I have an anodised Sparco spacer which brings the wheel 65mm closer, but I could do with a little more...
 
James, the only difference between the 'genuine' wheels and the 'German' ones is that the Porsche crest is embossed into the leather on the horn pad. The other wheels are made by the same manufacturer and are identical in every other way. Ive not seen a non-original one in grey for a long time though.

I didn't know that there was such as thing as a non genuine Clubsport wheel, so would be pleased to hear about where to get one. Not overly fussed about crest embossing to be honest. In fact I would happily have a Monte Carlo but for the fact that the spokes are exposed.

Perhaps someone else would be better able to help then me. When I sold my wheel Id been away from the cars for a while and all of the people who replied to my TP ad. asked the same question about the embossed crest; it was through this that I found out about the OEM parts (Im sure that theyre Italian rather than 'German', but I cant be certain). At the (pre-eBay) time Buttercup was selling these wheels, possibly along with a couple of other vendors. He may be a good place to start. although extremely expensive; and hopefully someone else can steer you in the right direction (no pun intended).

The wheel is black and I'm not sure how much it should be. Must make time later to check the new price complete. Make me an offer?
