Total 911 is producing a feature on this rare model. We'd be grateful for any owner feed back on the 964 widebody or 30 Jahre anniversary models. Are then any in the club? Many thanks in advance to any contributors and happy 911 motoring this weekend.

I know Mike Moore has one but he has just left for Stuttgart to the Porsche Museum as they are having a special display of the 964 'Juri' Anniversary models from all over Europe in the Museum next week.

I will speak to him on his return [:)]

Hi Kieron,

I used to own one and the owner just had it resprayed to make it "perfect". I helped Johnny Tipler a lot with gathering information on the Widebody feature in the 911& Porsche world magazine; happy to send you the information. If you so kindly could send me an email via the system, I send you the caboodle over. I have still a lot of information available, and as usually, "keep tabs" on what the market is doing in the UK and overseas.

Cheers,

Bert

Mike Moore,s Jubi is probably the best in the UK with 20 odd K on it and totally mint inside out and underneath, not long spoken to him on the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam headed for Stuttgart when they get off.
Martin will give him the info when he gets back.
Martin could be up for the trip darn sarf Porsche viewing !

I bought a widebody 964 convertible new in 1992, it was a big step forward compared to the the 964 cab I had before. The look is a matter of taste (actually I like the small version better), but esp. the brakes were great. These widebody cabs were all loaded and the ride was outstanding. It was one of the best cars they ever made I think. They came in horrible colours, but the "normal" colours were available also. Mine was guards red (Indischrot) with a black roof and black leather.

What a car that was!

My colleague, Frank, has one which he bought around twelve years ago. I only saw it when it was first advertised, its an 'Anniversary' model in metallic green. Frank had it converted for his disability and deliberately chose lhd which favours his stronger side for climbing in. He is an engineer and something of a classic car fan and looks after his cars properly so I suspect it will still be in good order.

I will let him know about the current interest.

Out of interest (to a limited few) another work associate has a 964 cab in special order guise. It comes in a darker shade of turquoise with wall to wall pink leather and rear seat delete. It was origionally ordered for a Sheik or Sultan, excuse my ignorance, and has been off the road for atleast 5 years mainly due to a leak from one of the cylinders. A repair was carried out but none too successfully, it seems. This car may be for sale. I have suggested that the car be properly re-commissioned prior to sale.

if you get some more details and pics please let me know as the wife may be interested.

There is a Hing Kong widebody 964 tiptronic cabriolet rubystone ... in essex ... 5000 klms when I saw it last 10 years ago, where is it?

My wife has a 964 Widebody cab, polar silver/blue roof so not the wilder colours they were also available in. Had a full body restoration and new roof In the last year. She's loving it, it now also has the wheels changed to the 3.6 turbo look items so looks more period than the turbo twists in the pic. The thing she likes most is the electric roof, she says She cant be bothered with the flaffing about with my 964 Speedster roof. :)...........Result.

Yes I have a 964 Celebration model, (30 Jahre 911) would be happy to provide any info required.
Just back from Porsche museum where we held the 20th Anniversary rally with 30 Jubi's from 8 countries and all 5 colours represented.
Porsche added their model to the display (they have number nine hundred and eleven - the last one built)
