944s2 rotor/ dis cap

Its time for the winter & the general service ,Im sure i read some place of vw golf or something is the same ...... Im after a distributor cap & rotor arm for a 1992 944s2, without having the dealer take the pi$$, what fits them ? cheers

Volvo, I think. It's in the faqs!

Yup, one of the Volvo 740 series cars. About half the price of a 944 cap. In the FAQ's - as McNulters said.

But you still need the 944 rotor arm. And HT leads. And those aren't cheap ...

All i gotta do is align it up now, dang...wheres the spiggot, & where does it align to ?? Or will it only attach one way with the 3 screws ?

I think the three screws are symetrical, so it could fit in any of three ways.

You did note which way 'round it was when it came off, didn't you?

oooooooops !! NO. I took for granted it would only go one way, as most caps have a lug to align with [&:]
