944's @ You drive - Silverstone

ORIGINAL: Lowtimer

Oo, I like that 993. If I ever manage to make any money again I want one of those.

Thanks, I promised myself one when I retired and now my mileage is quite low it's a great car to own.

When I was still a working lad I used to put too many miles on nice cars, but had the advantage that the company paid for them.

Now I'm an old f**t I have to pay for my own so can't afford the depreciation, hence the 993.

I'm looking forward to it. Any opportunity to eat with fellow 944ers can't be missed. There's some driving too apparently [8D]

What's on the menu Simon?

I'm trying to see if Tom can come along and we can share a car.

There's a sample menu on the Porsche site

That would be cool. Sounds like we're going to get a great turn-out for this.

Thanks Glenn. That menu looks really nice! I was expecting fish and chips or burgers[:'(]

"lunch" normally retails for £30 (we're getting it bundled with the cost of the experience) and I suspect even Porsche would have trouble charging £30 for a burger!
