automotive developments (AMD) DME AND KLR chipset. car has rolling road printouts for 266bhp and 307ft lb of torque on a k26/6 turbo. £140

m030/ 928 s4 front calipers/(same as 968 m030, 944 turbo/s2 m030). medium blacks. these came off my turbo and are to be used with 304mm discs. (not included)
working perfectly on the car before removal. stripped and inspected them today. split the calipers, removed the pad plates, there was very minor plate lift on the calipers, which has been removed, (pads were moving freely before removal) all pistons move freely, all inlet/outlets and bleeds are all fine and come undone without issue. all pistons dust seals are perfect apart from 2 which had small tears of about 3mm long. these will want replacing to ensure the caliper stays in good condition. they were not torn until i started messing about with them today! the seals are £11 each and take about 5 mins to install!
you will also require x8 of the pad plate screws, again an item that can be found easily, they are std m6x1mm thread cap heads, can be had from any fixings specialist for next to nothing.

2 options with these. i can supply as they are needing 2 dust covers and x8 plate screws for £275 delivered.
or i can sort them out so they are ready for you to fit for £350 delivered the pair.
will include some pads with lots of life aswell

i will be sorting them out anyway within the next few weeks max, so the as is price will only apply until then.

these are the later type calipers 89 onward with the cheaper and easier to replace seals.

open to offers on all items, prices based on similar items i have seen sell on ebay recently

thanks

Hi Nick, Standing at the top of a very slippery slope it seems [;)] what is involved in changing the chipset and are there marked improvements? I have a standard 220 turbo. Few very basic tweaks, Bailey dump valve and boost enhancer. Cheers Craig

Nick, what condition is the exhaust in? And I'm sorry I dare say it has come up before but where in the country are you? Sounds like you should be upgrading the brakes too.... if your front calipers are in good condition, I'd be interested. cheers, Chris 87 220T

craiginuk- the chipset gives a noticeable gain in performance. the car was rolling roaded std with 220hp@6350rpm and 217ft lb @3890 which isnt far off what porsche quoted. the chipset was installed and increased power to 266hp @5600rpm, and 307 ft lb @4000rpm. so an increase of 46hp and more impressive and where u feel the power is the torque increase of 90ft lb. this was also done with ambient temps of 24 degrees so on a cool day it probably would give even better figures. installing the chipset is very simple, there is a full guide on lindsey racing website. it will take you an hour max and anyone can do it! you already have a boost enhancer which is exactly what this car was running aswell, so you should get very similar performance to mine. the exhaust is in good shape, slight surface corrosion on the pipework as to be expected but certainly not rotting out etc. i can get some pics if you require. i am located in surrey, postcode gu27 with regards to the brakes i am already running m030 968 clubsport/928 s4 brakes so shouldnt need to upgrade apart from track spec pads. although lucky for you, i do actually have a spare set available. thanks nick

Thanks for the mail Chris. Think I'll pass on the chipset - worried it will open up a whole new can of worms [:)] Seems a great deal for some other "braver than me" 220 turbo owner. Mas??

bad decision lol! you know you want more power, you will only decide you want more power in the future, so you may aswell just do it now! you only live once lol! only messing, if its not for you then no worrys. cheers for getting in touch thanks nick

Craig nice thought but im very happy driving a standard 220. Im 47 and just enjoy my classic cars and meets etc. Ill leave the racing around and chasing more power to younger folk i think :)

just a standard wastegate removed from a 220bhp turbo. in the history folder for the car it says a reconditioned wastegate was fitted in 1998 at 112k so i assume this will be that wastegate, so has covered 68k and is 14 years old, which is better than it being an original item! these cost something silly like £1500+vat from opc. thanks
