944 Turbo looks familiar

Maybe I'm just being suspicious but this car looks very much like the one that Buchanan Motors sold on eBay 2 weeks ago for £8600 and 4 Star Classics had previously sold the car?

Certainly looks like it Martin, i suppose it will only "up" the prices of the cars [;)]

Hmmm....

Not a single kerb mark on that nsf wheel? Maybe it's just a bad pic.

I don't get selling a car at that level of perfection, yet you don't change the coolant tank for a few pounds.

Same car. When they were selling it 18 months ago it was advertised at £11995, so it bodes well for us owners of white turbos that even though it's had another owner (possibly two) and is a bit older, the price has risen. And while it is a nice one, it's still only an early, low-spec car with the wrong wheels.

For the sake of the value of my car I hope they get the asking price!

Wheels are options, pre CS forged, only similar to the 928 ones, different offset.
Actually the same forging as the CS ones with less machined out.
You can see the C S outline from the back.

I have a set of those wheels - came off an '88 Turbo - as you say, definitely the correct wheels (if specified). Picked them up to use as winter wheels - easy cleaning etc - but not got round to it yet.

My car should have them, but doesnt. They come up for sale frequently enough, but the sets that I see seem to sell for strong money and the ones that I miss sell fr next to nothing!

I wish mine looked as good but it should be worth an extra couple of quid [;)]

Sorry - I should have put the word "wrong" into quotation marks. For me, anything other than deep rim tele dials on a 220 turbo or cup 1 alloys on a 250 turbo look wrong. Of course, purists would take a different view.
