944 S2 Tyres

What sort of mileage have people got from the various tyres that have been recommended. I know that it wil be dependant on style of driving but 6k on Pirelli for road use only seems a bit excessive to me

What Pirellies were they? P Zero' s?

I had Bridgestone S02' s on my S2 and they only lasted 8,000 miles.

My Turbo came with Pirelli P6000' s. The rears were replaced with Contisports straight away and I have since done 22,000 miles. Fronts and rears are now at 4mm (I don' t think the front Pirellis will ever wear out [:eek:] )
 
Hi,
I put Toyo Proxes T1S on my 944S2 (now sold). They still had tread at 15k and radically improved wet weather handling.
