Sorry not talked about this for a while, is everyone still up for this? ChasR I think has sold his car. Anymore? Its from 10am on Saturday 10th August at Surrey Rolling Road, KT16 0EE. Edd

Sorrys guys but don't think car will be ready in time. Had it back a few days, then it went back to barks, and now is having sill surgery. Some paints been removed 2 see what's going. If its ready in time I will bring it but would rather say I can't now then later

Commented on one of the other threads, I wont be able to make it as we are off to visit my wifes family for most of August, It was an unplanned trip as her Grandfather is very ill, hope its a good day for those that do make it, Tony

Really sorry to mess everyone around but I'm going to have to cancel this for me at least. Dave at Daytona has just given me a slot to fix my big scratch next week and I don't want to miss the opportunity as I think I'm going to be selling the car soon. The rest of you can either go anyway or cancel and arrange for another day? Sorry guys. Edd

I am afraid I am going to have cancel. I now have to work,to say I am not impressed would be rather an understatement Hope you all have a good day Dave

Is anyone actually still going to this? If not I will ring and cancel just incase they can get someone in last minute. Edd

That was a great result there Francis :). It was good to meet you and see your tidy S2. Likewise, it was good to meet a couple of other old faces too :). Mine came back with 283.3BHP :).

Shame I couldn't made this bhp figures are one thing but matching them against other 944 on the same dyno is something more. Chase R what set up and boost was you runing on that pull?

Yes, nice to see both Frank and Chas and thanks to Edd for booking it. If you scan your charts and post them on this thread we can analyse them without end [;)] I think I can claim the top S2 spot with 197bhp, which is not bad after 212,000 miles. Oli will be pleased to hear that the awesome power delivery of the naturally aspirated S2 caused it to jam on to the rolling road. It took them a full 15 minutes to undo the tie-down straps as something had got jammed under there.
