and while I'm at the daft questions, curious how you end up with pcgb member status on the forum - my membership number is in my profile already?
Hi Iain,
There's loads of stickies on the general forum areas about this. Short answer is that the Club and Forum databases are completely seperate, so you have to let us know you're a Club member in order for us to change the forum status. We got news today that the two sites have finally been linked. In the meantime I've upgraded you to your proper level of forum access. [

Sorry for what might be a daft question, but how does the oft mentioned register work?
Hi again....
When you join the Club, you should give all your address details, which are sent to your local Region. Your car details are put on the Club database, and these are sent to me. I then welcome you to the Register, send you a letter and a sticker, and you then contribute back by attending every event, using the forums etc. [
If you've not given full details of your car, or if you've changed car and not told the office, then I don't know who you are. As would be the case if you'd given the wrong address details to your local Region. If you've joined in the last month, and not heard from me yet, then see the apology in the next PP. I've had a house move, two weeks of no internet access and two bereavements in the last three weeks so the Register has taken a bit of a back seat in my everyday life! [&o]
How do I go about amending my details as you (the club) will still have me down under my old car, not the shiny S2 I now covet!

Hi Andrew,
Simply call or e-mail the details to the office and they'll change it for you.

So, if you've e-mailed me for a Register sticker could you re-send your name, address and membership number to:
944@porscheclubgb.com
Hopefully nothing else can go wrong!
